Early Years & Primary
During school workshops students gain a deeper understanding of home by engaging with issue-based themes, with links to the National Curriculum. Groups will take part in a range of activities including discussion-based exploration and art making, with storytelling and play activities for younger students.
Our school sessions can be tailored to suit SEND groups. All school workshops are for a maximum of 30 students.

Facilitated Creative Workshops
Exploring Home
Children will consider concepts of home, from the spaces we live in, to the people we live with and the way we feel about home. Following exploration of homes from various time periods and cultures, students will create mixed-media artworks about their own homes.
Early Years – KS2
Patterns, Migration and Identity
What stories can patterns tell us about who we are? Children will explore a variety of domestic patterns connecting with the owner or maker’s identity, with a particular focus on migration. Students will then create a collagraph printed pattern telling a story about themselves.
KS1 – KS2
Gender, Equality & Activism
Students will become mini activists, learning how to amplify their artistic voice through the power of collage. Exploring stories of equality in the home, with a focus on women and gender, children will then create a poster sharing a positive message of change they would like to see in the world.
