About Andy Hoang and Macy Trieu-Dingle

Andy Hoang is a London based fashion photographer with Vietnamese heritage. With a fondness towards cinematic docu-fashion, Hoang captures the rawness and emotions of individuals in his work. Channeling this in his latest directorial debut,

Macy Trieu-Dingle is a London based short film Writer/Director with Vietnamese and Chinese heritage. In this latest script, Macy takes a raw and naturalistic view and combines this with her highly stylised and choreographed visuals to create an abstract glimpse at her experience as a 2nd generation family member.

Hoang pairs up with Macy Trieu-Dingle to offer a glimpse into the lives of those within the Vietnamese diaspora, capturing their experiences through their unique lens.

About A Terraced House in 2024

Located in Saigon Court, a development run by the Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association, this house is typical of those built in the low-cost housing boom of the 1990s and 2000s.

Throughout the 1980s, Vietnamese community members established organisations such as the An Việt Foundation & Housing Association (now Lien Viet HA) which served to remove cultural and language barriers, and help Vietnamese people access vital services and information to make home in the UK.
