About Jamie Bunce, Revival Homewares
I am a designer and maker of 3D printed sustainable homewares. Using recycled and biodegradable materials my focus is to create beautiful and useful items for the home that are delicate to our environment and evoke a nostalgia of various 20th century eras.
At The Museum Of The Home late opening night I will setup a printer that will be creating specially commissioned Christmas baubles that will be available to purchase on the night. I will also be around on the evening to answer questions on my practice and how I try to be as environmentally conscious and sustainable as possible, as well as any technical questions about the operation of the printer.
About Wickham trio
The Wickham is an energetic jazz trio from London, comprising of Stan Wickham (Drummer,) Kobe Heath-Ngugi (Bassists), and Joseph Oti-Akenteng (Trumpet). They specialise in bebop classics of the 1950’s pioneered by the Great Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie, as well as the soulful sound of the Hard bop era, in particular the music of Art Blakey and Messengers. Their sound also leans to the more contemporary jazz repertoire and emulates the likes of Thelonius Monk, Wayne Shorter and Miles Davis. The trio is known for their regular shows at the 34 Mayfair Restaurant but play in multiple venues around London, creating atmospheric sounds that transport you back to the golden ages of jazz bars.
