Spotlight: Cyanotype Banner Workshop
Children from William Davis Primary School, a partner school for the Discovery Garden project made this banner with artist, Georgia Chambers. It celebrates the diversity of life that calls our gardens home.
The middle banner showcases the children’s cyanotype prints, a type of sustainable printing that is exposed using the sun. It explores the connection between micro and macro worlds. Looking closely you can see layers of the ecosystem, from microbes in the soil, up to birds and insects in the sky.
