Museum of the Home is showcasing a one-of-a-kind Vinterior replica dollshouse, created in partnership with The Kensington Dollshouse Company. Meticulously restored, this vintage pre-loved dollshouse was inspired by mid-century modern design, and offers a spin on the traditional dollshouse.

About the dollshouse

Inspired by mid-century modern aesthetics, this exquisite dollshouse features a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, all beautifully decorated with Edward Bulmer paints. Each room is furnished with period-appropriate pieces, including an iconic Eames rocking chair and industrial pendant lamps, creating a nostalgic yet stylish ambiance.

Vinterior's vibrant social community played an integral role in the final stages of the restoration. They were invited to vote on the finishing touches for each room, making this dollshouse a collaborative creation.

Get a glimpse into mid-century modern design on a miniature scale, showcasing its intricate details and craftsmanship.

In addition to the display, there will be a series of panel talks and events throughout the exhibition period, providing deeper insights into the restoration process and the era that inspired it.
