Discover Museum of the Home transformed for the holidays, explore our annual Winter Past exhibition, and get involved in festive events and workshops.

Every year, Museum of the Home transforms for the winter season, offering festive cheer and cosy creativity for all ages.

Join us from 18 November 2025 to enjoy the fresh Christmas tree in our atrium, generously donated by Bernard’s Trees, artist installations, and festive activities across the Museum.

Our annual Winter Past exhibition returns to the Rooms Through Time, curated in collaboration with the Museum’s Community Authors. This year’s winter programme will see the return of visitor favourites such as Museum of the Home Head Gardener of 30 years Heather Stevens BEM’s wreath-making workshop, as well as introduce a host of new workshops and courses.

We’re also delighted to welcome over 40 stallholders to this year’s Winter Market and host a special festive Museum Late – during which visitors will also have the chance to join one of our many immersive, candlelit Almshouse 14 tours.
