Part of What the Folk? Fest from Saturday 13 – Sunday 21 June 2026.

We're bringing out rarely seen folk treasures from the Museum's Collections store for a chance to learn about the stories, craftsmanship and communities behind them.

Drop in to explore unique objects, including printed textiles and the iconic Pearly King suit, and discover the rich heritage of folk culture.

Whether you’re a folk enthusiast or just curious to learn something new, enjoy an informal, welcoming atmosphere in our Collections Library!
