Harvest Family Day

Mark the changing of the seasons at our Harvest Family Day with a range of fun, accessible and creative family-friendly workshops!

This event is free of charge, any donations are warmly received.

Walk-up visits are welcome, but booking a ticket helps us to plan for the day. At busy periods, some activities may reach capacity and require a short wait.

Activities will run in the morning (10am–12pm) and afternoon (1pm–3pm), and are free to drop-in during these times.

We use the term family broadly to include any form of family structure, including LGBTQIA+ families, chosen family, friends and allies.

As harvest time arrives, take part in a seasonal craft activity looking at the food we grow and how we use it.

Ceramic pots and plants

Studio

At the end of summer, as we harvest the food crops grown throughout the year so far, it is also traditional to plant specific varieties for the colder months ahead.

Decorate your own ceramic pot and choose an autumn-growing flower or vegetable option to plant and grow at home.

Garden play

Discovery Garden

Join playworker Sianead for one of her much-loved outdoor play sessions in the garden. Expect bubbles, making using natural materials and fun craft activities.
