The snake is the sixth animal in the twelve-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. Children born in the year of the snake are mysterious, smart, wise, and caring.
Whether you’re looking to get creative, dive into stories, or discover playful new ways to become the snake, there’s something for everyone!
What’s on
Ssssnake Play | Studio
Children are invited to experiment with fabric, paper, shadows, and sound to embody their version of a snake. Do they have shimmery scales? Are they quiet as they slither across the ground? Or do they rattle and shake? Craft material, instruments, mask-making, face paint will be available.
The Mini Playhouse | Studio
Children can make their own temporary homes in our Mini Playhouse! Make a den using sensory materials, colours and textures. Once you’ve finished, leave the story of your den behind for other children to hear, read and be inspired by!
Read the co-design story of our Mini Playhouse here.
Storytelling | Learning Pavilion
Immerse yourself in musical storytelling from Tony Tang to celebrate Lunar New Year.
There will be three sessions held at 11.45am-12.15pm, 12.45pm-1.15pm, and 1.45pm-2.15pm.
We use the term family broadly to include any form of family structure, including LGBTQIA+ families, chosen family, friends and allies.
